The EU Parliament’s Committee on Industry, Research and Energy will host a structured dialogue with Executive Vice-President Margrethe Vestager on 31 March. Ms Vestager will focus on the latest initiatives of the political priority ‘A Europe Fit for the Digital Age’, in particular, the proposed Chips Act and Data Act. The Chips Act addresses shortages in the production of microchips, caused in part by the COVID-19 crisis. The Data Act sets new rules on use of and access to data generated in the EU.
